NSG team inspects Nagpur airport

Nagpur: A team of National Security Guards (NSG) came down to Nagpur for a meeting with security officials of MIHAN India Limited (MIL), the operators of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur.
The meeting was scheduled for two days, Thursday and Friday, and discussed anti-hijacking measures and other security matters with MIL officials, and the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF), which is responsible for the security of the airport, informed a senior MIL officer.
The official further informed that the NSG team, comprising of three members, was at the city airport to conduct a kind of a survey on the preparedness of the airport in dealing with a hijack situation or other such situations posing a security threat.
