After incurring losses in fiscal 2012, Pawan Hans Ltd, one of the biggest helicopter companies, has managed to turn a profit last fiscal on account of higher efficiencies and cost-cutting.
Anil Srivastava, chairman and managing director, said the company made a net profit of around Rs 7-8 crore (unaudited).
“When I joined last year, the company was in a bad shape. We had losses of Rs 10.35 crore. It was really challenging. We are happy to say that the company has sort of turned around.”
