War of words over Juhu airport security

Mumbai: Airport officials and Mumbai police are at loggerheads over the security of the key aviation installation in Juhu.
The standoff started after a security drill was carried out in which cops found that many personnel from various agencies did not have passes.
"The police have been informed that the officials had applied for passes, which are with the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security," said an Airports Authority of India official.
In his report, deputy police commissioner Chhering Dorje said senior officers must ensure that airport authorities take corrective action. The airport boundary wall was missing at several places, the police said.
