Margao: As promised, Churchill Alemao took his first major step in mobilizing the public to fight for Dabolim by holding a meeting with his supporters on Saturday in Margao to form a committee to take forward their 'Aamka Naka Mopa' campaign.
At the meet, UGDP vice-president Radharao Gracias, announced that by August the Benaulim and Aldona legislative assembly seats would be vacant and that this could mark Alemao's return to the state assembly. Later, when TOI asked Gracias if this meant that Alemao would contest the assembly elections and not the Lok Sabha elections, Gracias said that they would want to have Alemao in Goa rather than Delhi.
