The Air India flight to the Sahnewal airport near the city was cancelled on Friday causing inconvenience to the passengers. The Air India authorities cited late availability of the plane as reason for the cancellation. It is the second time that a flight has been cancelled to the city.
Amrik Singh, Air India manager at Sahnewal airport, said, "We had to cancel the flight today as the plane was not available on time."
