Puducherry: Another group of 46 pilgrims from Puducherry, who had been stranded in Uttarakhand were airlifted from Chinyalisaur to Delhi on Thursday. The pilgrims accompanied by Local Administration Minister N.G. Panneerselvam are expected to arrive in Chennai at around 8.30 p.m. by Jet Airways.
The pilgrims hailing from different parts of Puducherry were stranded in Sukhitop since June 15 after flash floods washed away roads in Uttarakhand. A high level team of the Puducherry government got in touch with the stranded pilgrims.
