Mumbai: Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons Ltd will not be on the Board of AirAsia India, the joint venture between the Tata group, Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia Berhad and Arun Bhatia of Telestra Tradeplace Pvt Ltd, as per The Hindustan Times report. "Ratan Tata is not on the airline’s board," Ajit Singh, Minister for Civil Aviation, Government of India said. A Tata Sons spokesperson confirmed this.
