19 new flights from Patna airport soon

Patna:  The state capital is all set to have 19 new flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ranchi and Bangalore from August 18, according to a communication received from Airports Authority of India, said airport sources here on Monday.
The Jayaprakash Narayan International airport in Patna will handle three Indigo, three Air India, two GoAir and one Jetlite flights to connect with New Delhi. Altogether nine flights will be operating between Patna and New Delhi.
To reach Kolkata, flyers from Patna will have four more options as Jetlite will start two flights and one flight each by Indigo and Air India will be operating from Patna.
Flyers for Mumbai will get three new flights. Apart from an afternoon flight of GoAir from Patna via Ranchi to Mumbai, two flights of Indigo will be at 11.15am and 2.30pm, respectively.
