New Delhi: AirAsia CEO, Tony Fernandes, today said that the low-cost airline is eyeing several bases, including Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi.
He said that even at Rs 70,000/kilolitre, the airline will offer nano fares. But he refused to speculate on the fares or when the airline will start its operations.
Tony Fernades has a key message that flying is not elite.Earlier, Tony Fernandes, along with Ratan Tata, advisor to the AirAsia India board, and other senior Tata officials met Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh.
Ratan Tata and Tony drove in a Jaguar, while a second black Jaguar carried Mittu Chandilya, CEO of AirAsia India operations, and others.
