Vijayawada: About 60 passengers of Air India flight spent anxious moments when the aircraft kept roaming over the Gannavaram airport for over an hour on Saturday.
The flight could not land at the airport due to bad weather coupled with heavy rain in the region.
However, it landed safely almost after 1.15 hours of waiting in the air, giving a breather to all those on board.
The Delhi-Vijayawada flight was scheduled to arrive here at 4.30pm but landed about 20 minutes late. By the time the flight neared Gannavaram, there was a sudden downpour, and the sky was overcast with dark clouds.
