Hyderabad airport gets Level-3 accreditation

Hyderabd: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad, near here, has been ranked first in India and second in the Asia-Pacific region for achieving Level-3 optimisation of airport carbon accreditation.
This is the second accreditation in a row for RGIA, which is run by the GMR group, after if was accredited Level-2 last year.
Airport carbon accreditation programme is an industry standard for assessment of airport’s efforts to deal with and reduce carbon dioxide emissions to reduce the problem of global warming.
