Margao: The gram sabha of the Majorda village panchayat held on Sunday unanimously adopted a resolution to oppose the proposed Mopa airport and demanded that Dabolim airport be retained as the sole international airport for Goa.
Villagers, at the gram sabha, pointed out the hardships they had to face on account of the block development office pertaining to the Majorda panchayat being located in Mormugao, and demanded that the office be relocated to Margao.
