Man caught with 3kg gold at Airport

Ahmedanad: A team of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) held a man with three kilogram gold at SardarVallabhbhai International airport late on Wednesday. A man in the late twenties was caught with yellow metal after returning from Sharjah in Air Arabia flight.
The man was first questioned at International terminal till 4.30pm and later was taken to DRI office in Paldi. The DRI team is still investigating the case. There has been a sudden increase in the case of gold smuggling ever since gold import has been capped by the central government.
