New Delhi: India’s civil aviation authority, DGCA, recently approved Flight Simulation Technique Centre Pvt Ltd.(FSTC) as a Type Rating Training Organisation (TRTO) for Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 NG family of airplanes.
This is a significant achievement for FSTC, a Joint Venture company with SIM Industries BV, Netherlands, a Lockheed Martin Company. It has the latest Airbus 320 and Boeing 737-800 full flight Level D simulators located at its modern training facility in Gurgaon.
Unlike most simulator training facilities that are owned and run by airlines or aircraft manufacturers, FSTC was promoted and set up as an independent training facility by a team of experienced airline pilots.
Addressing the media, Captain Sanjay Mandavia, founder of FSTC and a commercial Pilot himself with over 11000 hours of flying said the new facility was on par with world standards.
