Bhubaneswar: To showcase the rich tribal culture of Odisha, a new Tribal World outlet has been opened at the domestic terminal of Biju Patnaik Airport here.
"The exclusive outlet showcases the rich and varied tribal culture. The products have a growing demand in the international market," said Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste Development Minister L B Himirika after inaugurating the facility.
The outlet showcases around 40 different items from the tribal belts of Odisha.
The objective of putting of this Tribal World outlet is to popularise the unique products such as Soura and Gond paintings, alongwith various handicrafts and handlooms items from Santal, Kandh and other tribal community, among the Indian and international tourists, he said.
