'Allahabad-Mumbai flight now four days a week'

Allahabad:  Union Civil aviation minister Ajit Singh has agreed to increase the frequency of Allahabad-Mumbai flight from two four days a week. The minister took the decision after meeting with local MP and Samajwadi Party (SP) national general secretary Reoti Raman Singh. The local MP highlighted the rising number of people travelling to Mumbai from the district and the long waiting list in trains.
Talking to TOI, media in-charge Vinay Kushwaha said that an alternative mode of transportation was required as the waiting list in trains running between Allahabad and Mumbai extended for months. Although the weekly Duronto Express had reduced the problem up to some extent, increasing the frequency of flight was much in demand.
