New Delhi: Tourist visa on arrival facility has been extended to four more airports in the country — Bangalore, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
The facility of visa on arrival can be availed by citizens of 11 countries in these airports in addition to four already designated international airports — Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Citizens of Japan, Singapore, Finland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietn- am, Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia — can avail the facility in the eight airports, a Home Ministry official said.
The visa on arrival facility would also be extended to Goa airport as soon as infrastructure and manpower requirements are in place, the official said.
