DGCA probing Dabolim airport case

Vasco: SuryavanshiSadashiv, the man who jumped off the SpiceJet plane on Friday evening at Dabolim airport, said that he panicked when the aircraft moved and jumped from the cargo hold door.
Sources said 110 passengers were aboard the Ahmedabad-bound SpiceJet. Suryavanshi, a resident of Mangor, told CISF officials that when the ground staff of the aircraft closed the door of the cargo hold, he was inside arranging the cargo.
Reports from Delhi said that the directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) has taken the incident seriously and is probing into the case. Officials are questioning how such an incident occurred when it had been warning airline companies against such negligence.
