Drug worth Rs 1 crore seized from two men at airport

Chennai:  Two people were arrested on Thursday while trying to smuggle pseudoephedrine, a medication used to treat colds which can be combined with other components to make party drug methamphetamine, at Chennai airport.
Narcotics Control Bureau officers received a tip and searched the luggage of Mohammad Ibrahim, 26, a native of Sivaganga, and Rajkumar, 32, a resident of Mannady. They found 12.25kg of pseudoephedrine in a white, powdered form concealed in gym equipment.
