Chennai: Over 1,500 employees of the Airports Authority of India today staged a protest here against the Centre's attempts to privatise airports in the country.
Activists of employee unions and associations gathered in front of the airport here this afternoon and raised slogans against the Centre, airport sources said.
They also held placards against privatisation of airports in the country including the one in Chennai, the sources said.
