Vijayawada: Airports Authority of India (AAI) Southern Regional Executive Director (Chennai) T.S. Chandramouli visited Gannavaram Airport on Saturday. He enquired about the development works on the airport premises.
Airport Director B.G. Patil, who accompanied Mr. Chandramouli, explained about the new terminal building, automation air traffic control system, instrument landing system (ILS), layout and the ongoing development works.
He went round the airport and gave some suggestions to the officials in the ongoing expansion works. Later, the Regional Executive Director held a meeting with the project authorities and reviewed the land acquisition and other issues.
