Bhopal: Air Asia, airlines major, is planning to make an air hub at Bhopal or Indore where there will be flights for different cities of India. Chief executive officer of Air Asia Mittu Chandalia called on the CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Monday. Chief Secretary R Parashuram and secretary to chief minister S K Mishra were also present on the occasion.
The air hubs would be set up to promote tourism and employment. Besides, passengers from other countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea and Australia will come to the state. Chandalia also held discussions with the chief secretary and other senior officers. The chief secretary said MP has the highest growth rate in the country.
