Raipur: Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh on Thursday inaugurated the new hangar for the state government's aircraft at Mana-based Swami Vivekananda Airport.
The hangar, which is 60m in length, 36m in width and 14m in height, has a tarmac area of 48x32, fit to accommodate even an air bus or a boeing. The hangar has been constructed at a cost of Rs 5.90 crore and it adheres to the parameters of aviation regulator, DGCA.Raipur MP Ramesh Bais presided over the inaugural programme, while school education minister Brijmohan Agrawal, agriculture minister Chandrashekhar Sahu, industry minister Rajesh Moonat, MLA Raipur (rural) Nandkumar Sahu, state minority commission chairman Dilip Singh Hora and president Mana Nagar Panchayat Suman Manik were also present.
