Chennai: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has appointed HSA Advocates as the legal consultant for a public-private partnership for the development and maintenance of Chennai airport.
The contract was awarded to HSA Advocates through a bidding process conducted by AAI in which several leading law firms, including an international law firm, participated. The bidding process followed the 'weightage on technical experience' methodology where 80% weightage was given to 'technical' experience and the balance 20% was given to the financial proposal. HSA obtained the highest score on technical experience.
