The INS Vikramditya aviation trails in the White Sea are complete and the aircraft carrier will be handed over to the Indian Navy by the middle of November, various media outlets in India reported.
“The entire gamut of aviation trials was successfully completed on INS Vikramaditya…,” The Hindu cited informed Indian defence establishment sources as saying on Tuesday.
The daily said 20 Indian naval officers were on board the aircraft carrier for observation of the aviation trials which included exercises such as touch-and-go.
