Chennai:  25-year-old Royapettah resident has been detained for questioning by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence sleuths after 2kg of gold biscuits worth Rs 60 lakh were found on him when he arrived at Chennai airport on Thursday morning from Bangkok. The authorities are now on the trail of the smugglers' gang that used him as a carrier.
Sibptin Hyder, who arrived by a Thai Airways flight, was trying to make his way through the green channel when DRI officials, working on a tip, stopped him.
