“Queen of the Skies” Air India’s much touted Boeing Dreamliner aircraft is embroiled in another controversy! The non-stop India-Australia connection has run into trouble on its inaugural flight itself.
A Melbourne-based solicitor is threatening to sue Air India, saying he experienced racial bias on the carrier's maiden flight from Melbourne to Delhi.
Indian-born Gurpal Singh who boarded the first flight to Delhi on the Dreamliner last Friday called his on-board experience terrible.
Singh has accused the cabin crew of boorish behavior and favoritism towards foreigners and criticized them for bad food, poor customer service and ambience. His rants have gone viral after he described his “horrendous” experience during the Melbourne-Delhi flight to an Australia based radio channel.
