Kochi: The Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened a Help Desk at the Kochi international airport on Tuesday. Additional Chief Secretary of the State and managing director of the airport V J Kurian IAS formally inaugurated the help desk.
According to KCCI officials, the new help desk will ease the problems the exporters were facing at the airport with regard to despatch of cargo. The exporters’ representatives who were depending on the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry(CCCI) at Wellingdon Island for issuing the ‘certificate of origin’ for the goods they send overseas can now approach the new help desk at the airport.
