Imphal: The Indian Embassy in Myanmar has been working hard to introduce Imphal-Mandalay flight service ahead of the Manipur Sangai Festival scheduled next month.
In the meantime, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India has recognised Myanmar airline Golden Myanmar as additional designated flight.
Confirming this to The Sangai Express and adding that the Indian Embassy has been working hard to introduce flight service between Imphal and Mandalay, Principal Secretary (Industries) O Nabakishore informed that he has received report about correspondence between the Indian Embassy and tour operator Seven Sisters Holidays with regard to introduction of Imphal-Mandalay flight service.
Myanmar's low cost airline Golden Myanmar has been approved by DGCA as additional designated flight which would fly from Myanmar to India.
