Man caught in airport with 1kg gold in rectum

Jaipur: A Delhi-based businessman was arrested by officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) at Sanganer airport for carrying one kg of gold bars worth Rs 30 lakh concealed in his rectum on Sunday morning. The DRI officers were stunned to see the volume of thin gold bars concealed in his rectum considered as the most dangerous method for smuggling.
The man, identified as Inderjit Singh, who arrived from Sharjah in an Air India flight came under the scanner of DRI officers who reportedly got a tip-off from the intelligence . The moment Singh arrived at the conveyor belt to collect his luggage , the officers took him for questioning .
