After Tehelka case, Air India lady manager alleges harassment by four colleagues

The latest 'Tehelka' is in the national carrier. A lady manager has alleged harassment at the hands of her own airline colleagues. Such is the scenario that that the lady finding no relief from the grievance cell of Air India (AI) has even lodged a police complaint againt four of her colleagues at the Sahar Police station in Mumbai.
Talking exclusively to Headlines Today a family member of the the lady maintained that that victim has served the airline for 35 years and that it all began on 4th March 2013 when she lodged a complaint against one Flight Purser of the airline for his unregulated behaviour in one particular flight and violating the safety procedures. That she was in the CCIC position did not go down well with the male colleague and he refused to take her orders even asking her to resign on the grounds that he was senior to her in rank. The lady in one of  her letters to the AI authorities alleges  that on the same day of her complaining to the authorities another male colleague threatened her of dire consequences and asked her to withdraw her complaint. That she did not back out resulted in further harassment. On 15th March the latter says she was reported sick for her work without her knowing of the same.
Further on 1st May '13 the lady manager alleges in her another letter that yet another colleague threatened her. There were instances she says when unknown people would get after her and she would fear for her life. On 1 July the lady reports in her letter that one male colleague used abusive language in front of her husband. Then finally on 8th August Air India agreed to conduct an inquiry and take action but the lady maintains no action has been taken till date.
