Mumbai: An Air India 747 jumbo flight from Jeddah had to be flown back to the airport of origin after its pilot saw an signal indicating a technical glitch with the door.
"The pilot saw a door sign and the aircraft was flown back to Jeddah' said a spokesperson at the airline.
"However it was a false alarm," she added.
The delay however caused the Jeddah-Hyderabad- Mumbai flight to skip a leg and land at Mumbai 4 hours late.
