'Centre wants new terminal functioning by December 13'

Vasco: The Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) held a meeting at the Dabolim airport with all the stake holders chaired by South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha, who is also the chairman of the AAC, to discuss the strategy for smooth functioning during the shifting of the airport from the old terminal to the new one.
Sardinha informed that the aviation ministry has given them a time period of ten days from the date of inauguration - December 3 - to get the new terminal functioning. Sardinha also claimed that 95% of the new terminal building work is completed. "The new Bombay airport was given a 15-day time period to make the new building operational, while Delhi was given a month," Sardinha said.
