The newly created international business arm of Irish airport operator DAA is actively looking for investment partners to help it achieve its goal of operating airports in emerging markets such as India and Brazil.
Subsidiary, daa international, ideally wants to operate an airport in India or Latin-America as part of a consortium comprising itself and one or more partners prepared to make the equity investment necessary to buy the gateway or secure a management contract.
It wants to work with institutional funds and infrastructure developers willing to invest in airport assets in emerging markets, and use its experience of operating Ireland’s Dublin, Cork and until recently Shannon airports to develop and grow the gateways.It is not looking to make an equity investment of its own at this stage.
