Chennai: Departure of all the flights in the international sector has been shifted to the new international terminal from Friday. However, international flights will continue to land in the old terminal, according to an official release from the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The communication said the national carrier Air India was the last airline to shift its operations to the new international terminal on Friday. With this, the shifting of all international flight departures from the old terminal building to the new international building has been completed in a phased manner. All passengers who are taking flights out of Chennai (departures) in the domestic/international sectors have to take the route towards the ramp of the new domestic terminal.
