Surat: Air India's announcement to commence Vadodara-Delhi morning flight starting January 8, has led members of We Want Working Airport at Surat (WWWAS) association of Surat's frequent flyers to once again air their demand for a morning Mumbai-Surat-Delhi flight.
The association has decided to submit a memorandum to Air India authorities for ignoring Surat since 2007. Air India has been operating a 68-seater aircraft on the Delhi-Surat-Delhi route in the evening four days a week.
The association has been complaining that the current flight schedule from Delhi to Surat is not suitable for the passengers and the flight is often departing one to two hours late.
