Tura: The long-delayed Baljek Airport project, in the Garo Hills region, has received a fillip with the project finally completing the land acquisition process.
According to official sources, a total of 58 acres of land has been acquired for the expansion of the airport to make it ready for use. The cost of acquisition of land stood at Rs 2.58 crore.
