Taxiway construction proves taxing for flyers at Mumbai airport

Mumbai: Passengers flying from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) are facing a terrible time due to the delays caused by the repairing of the primary runway.
The passengers claim that the problem is not the flight delay but the lack of communication from the airline and airport operator who do not inform them of the delay, which could help passengers plan accordingly.
A senior media professional, who recently faced a lot of inconvenience due to the delay, said: “There was no information provided either by the airport operator nor the airline about the delay.
The Delhi-Mumbai flight was delayed by around 20 minutes due to some problem with the ATC.”
But after it landed in Mumbai, the bus ferrying flyers to the terminal got stuck in along the route.
