Kozhikode: Two air passengers were taken into custody at the airport in Kozhikode for allegedly attempting to smuggle gold worth about Rs. 90 lakh from different Gulf nations.
Air Customs Intelligence seized 1.5 kg of gold valued at Rs. 45 lakh from Abdul Rashid of Thamarassery in the district on his arrival from Dubai, officials sources said.
