Pune: Here’s some bad news for the air passengers from the city. When you walk into the Pune airport on Wednesday, don’t be surprised to see the chaos at the passenger lounge.
With the work on the Modernisation of Air Field Infrastructure (MAFI) project starting today, the airport authorities will be operating all the 50 flights in 12 hours instead of the usual 24 hours. Under such circumstances, it is less likely that the flight operations will be conducted sans the chaos.
Airport officials, however, said for smoother operations, authorities have requested the Air Traffic Control (ATC) office for western region in Mumbai to give priority to Pune-bound flights.
