Trichy: Trichy airport custom officials arrested a 58-year-old man for smuggling 1kg of gold which was found hidden in his rectum.
He was arrested on Saturday. A Dubai national was also arrested for carrying gold of similar quantity.
The person has been identified as Muthukumar S.
