Siliguri: Four Nepali nationals were arrested Wednesday and gold worth over Rs.15 lakh seized from them at Bagdogra airport in West Bengal's Darjeeling district, police said.
The accused had boarded a Druk Air flight from Bangkok and were nabbed by customs officials after the gold was found in their possession during a search at the airport.
"We have arrested four Nepali nationals and seized 420 gm of gold from them. They will be presented before a court Thursday," anti-hijacking inspector (Bagdogra) C.B. Subba said.
