Jaisalmer: On the occasion of Republic Day, 15 aircraft of Indian Air Force will take off from various air bases including Jaisalmer, Uttarlai, Naal and Jodhpur air base to participate in various formations at the fly past at Rajpath in New Delhi.
A total of 30 aircaft will participate in the fly past and out of which 15 will take off from Rajasthan.
Defence spokesman Colonel S D Goswami said: "The Trident formation of the three Sukhoi MKI aircraft in fly-past will take off from airbases in Rajasthan.
The fly past will begin with three attack helicopters passing over Rajpath, followed by newly acquired C17 Globemaster transport aircraft and dorniers, AN-32 cargo aircraft and Jaguars zipping over Raisina Hills.
