New Delhi: A fare war has once again broken out in the domestic skies. Within hours of SpiceJet announcing its three-day Super Sale, which offers a 50 per cent discount on domestic flights provided the booking is made 30 days before travel, IndiGo too has announced a similar scheme.
To avail of the 50 per cent reduced fares by both IndiGo and SpiceJet on a limited number of seats, the booking has to be made by this Thursday and travel has to be completed by April 15.
The SpiceJet Super Sale, which ends on Thursday at midnight, is offering a Bangalore-Delhi flight at Rs 3,444, while a Chennai-Port Blair ticket is available at Rs 2,302 and a Kolkata-Chennai flight is priced at Rs 2,565.
The discounted tickets are available on the airline’s Website, online portals and through travel agents, but are not available at the airline’s sales and reservation centres or at its airport ticketing offices.
