New Delhi: IPS officer of 1983 batch O P Singh on Wednesday took over the charge of additional director general, CISF Airport Sector at CISF headquarters in New Delhi. Earlier, Singh was functioning as ADG (Security and Telecom) in UP Police at Lucknow. A post graduate in political science from Delhi University and an MBA in disaster management, Singh belongs to the Uttar Pradesh cadre. During his career spanning about 30 years, Singh has held many important and sensitive positions in UP addressing issues of law and order, crime prevention, crime detection, traffic management, managing mega events, community Policing, VIP security etc.
