Three air passengers held, 1kg gold seized

Hyderabad: Customs sleuths arrested three passengers for trying to smuggle in 1.03 kilos of gold and seized the contraband from their possession on Tuesday.
Around 1am on Tuesday, customs sleuths intercepted a passenger from Hyderabad, who landed here from Bangkok in Thai Airways flight TG 329. They found two gold bars, weighing 333 grams each, concealed in a secret pocket of his trousers.
Similarly at 6 am, customs sleuths intercepted two passengers from Hyderabad, including a woman, who arrived here from Dubai by Air India flight AI 952.
