New Delhi: Highlighting his government's efforts to boost infrastructure development in the country, Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Monday in his Vote on Account 2014 speech said that while the cabinet panel has cleared 296 projects, there are seven airports that are currently under construction in India. "296 projects worth Rs 6,60,000 crore were cleared by Cabinet Committee on Investment by end January 2014," Chidambaram said.
