Mumbai: The three-day sale offer on tickets relaunched by airlines last week is over, but for travel in March and April on most domestic routes, a 30-day advance booking would still yield an attractive fare.
It seems that not all the low fares put out in the market by airlines have been lapped up by flyers, what with February and March being the lean season for travel.
On Monday, on routes such as Mumbai-Delhi, the 30-day advance purchase fare was around Rs 4,500, while generally the fare stays at Rs 5,000. On other routes, such as Mumbai- Bangalore and Mumbai-Jaipur too, airfares on offer for a 30-day advance purchase were lower than that generally offered this time of the year.
