Bhopal: Struggling to increase number of flights connecting Bhopal to other parts of the country, Raja Bhoj airport suffered another blow after SpiceJet discontinued its services to Delhi this week. Besides, service to Hyderabad from will be stopped from March 1, according to airport authorities. SpiceJet is the only air carrier offering, which provided connectivity from Bhopal to southern part of the country.
After SpiceJet discontinues Hyderabad flight in March, the number of daily flights from Bhopal will come down from 11 to 8, said Vivek Upadhyay, director, Raja Bhoj airport. On average, around 700 passengers fly from Bhopal to different destinations, authorities said.
