Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh director sports and youth welfare and senior IPS officer Shailendra Shrivastava filed a case against Air India management for damaging his baggage and not informing him about it.
A case under sections of IPC, including 407 (criminal breach of trust by carrier) and 462 (punishment for same offence when committed by person entrusted with custody) for damage to his baggage and missing of articles at the Gandhi Nagar police station here.
Shrivastava who travelled from Kochi to Bhopal via New Delhi on Air India flight on February 1 realized his trolley bag was damaged only after getting back home. The bag was wrapped tightly in polythene and on getting down at Bhopal his baggage came very late and when he inquired about it was traced and handed over to him by the airline staff.
